A few updates regarding the safety precautions that we’ll be taking at this year’s Baci 5K:
- The Baci 5K has been limited to 100 participants.
- We will be running a “no contact” registration process once you arrive at Peace Valley Park. You will be able to grab your own shirt, race pack and award from designated tables – not from a person. Also, the registration area is fairly wide open so there will be a lot of room available for “natural distancing.”
- We will ask that everyone wears a mask for the entire time they’re at the park (the one exception being while running the race – no mask required).
- Since we’ll be utilizing chip-technology, we will not have a traditional shotgun start – instead we will release runners in waves (probably every 30 seconds or so) as either individuals or preferred groups (family or friends).
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding with all this. Our event team has worked closely with other race directors and our event partner (Bryn Mawr Racing Company) to ensure that all of our safety measures are commensurate with other in-person races.
