Freedom Steps

Sauers Cares worked alongside Freedom Steps to send a collection of warming items for troops on the USS Makin Island and in South Korea.  Freedom Steps was created to raise awareness for those soldiers deployed overseas who do not have the comforts of home. Money raised throughout the year is used to purchase supplies and ship to units around the world.

Our nation’s armed forces guarantee our safety, and it was our pleasure to try and return the favor with comforting items they needed. With support leading up to the holiday season, we were able to collect enough blankets, socks, hand warmers, foot warmers, and wipes for 75 sailors and soldiers. It was a pleasure partnering with Freedom Steps for this collection and we look forward to doing more good work together in the future.

Also a very special thank you to the first graders of Nativity of our Lord School in Warminster who were major participants in this drive!
