Cancer Support Community Greater Philadelphia

No One Faces Cancer Alone

The mission of Cancer Support Community Greater Philadelphia is to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community.

They provide a comprehensive professional program of social and emotional support and education to enhance the mind, body, and spirit of people affected by cancer. Most importantly, these programs and services are free, thus removing barriers for anyone who needs cancer support.

With more than 150 programs each month, CSCGP provides a critical support network for men, women, and children facing cancer diagnoses and treatment. Programs include workshops, support and networking groups, and lecture series. These programs focus on finding resources, nutrition, creative expression, and mind/body wellness. Additionally, CSCGP offers caregiver, bereavement, and grief groups to comfort whole families struggling with cancer. All of these programs also strengthen networks and support systems so that no one faces cancer alone.

Partnership with Cancer Support Community

In the past, Sauers Cares collaborated with this amazing organization for several projects. We've hosted donation drives, donated food, and provided general support for their kids' camp.

Every July, Sauers Cares dedicates the proceeds from our Muscle Up Against Cancer Car Show to a local cancer care charity.

In 2023, Sauers Cares partnered with three local cancer care charities, including CSCGP. The funds donated have made a lasting impact in the community. With our help, CSCGP was able to upgrade their IT infrastructure allowing them to provide online programs to local cancer patients and their families.
