Between Friends Outreach In-Kind Donations

Adopt-A-Family

Sauers Cares connected Between Friends Outreach with Sauers Snow and Ice Management for a special Adopt-a-Family event.

A Friend to All in the Community

Between Friends Outreach, Inc., "BFO," is a volunteer, faith-based, nonprofit 501(c)(3) agency. The organization works with homeless persons, domestic violence victims, low-income persons and families, & Veterans in their local community. BFO works one-on-one with clients in Central and Upper Bucks County and parts of Montgomery County by providing resources to prevent homelessness and to assist clients transitioning out of homelessness.

BFO provides emergency shelter, meals, counseling, drug and alcohol treatment, budgeting skills, medical care, employment assistance, and housing assistance resources to its clients. The organization does everything from assisting with utility bills and sober living to handling court cases, delivering complete holiday meals, assisting clients going to the prom, setting up a child’s first bedroom, and their favorite: supplying hundreds of local children with Christmas gifts.

The Adopt-a-Family Event

In November and December 2020, Sauers Cares received 20 'tags' of items that were needed at Between Friends Outreach and provided about $1000 worth of items that the organization then dispersed to those in need throughout the community.  BFO works with the homeless, domestic violence victims, low-income persons and families, and Veterans. All community donations are directly given to clients who are provided resources to prevent and transition out of homelessness.
